Business Operations Manager

EAU Holdings is looking for a dynamic and passionate Business Operations Manager who loves the Northwoods to join our rapidly growing enterprise in Manitowish Waters, WI. Whether it’s morning coffee at Dixie’s, bike rides along miles of world-class paved trails or a relaxing dinner at Smokey’s, we take pride in providing a five-star, world-class customer experience.

You will join EAU’s Leadership team to help further our vision of providing exceptional service to all customers and guests. The manager will have a hands-on role ensuring quality and performance standards are achieved, leading key operational initiatives and developing associates to meet the needs of our growing businesses.

This position is located in Manitowish Waters, WI.

Position Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the director to meet the operational and workforce challenges of hospitality businesses.

• Keep a highly visible profile with a “can do” leadership style to achieve exceptional results.

• Champion innovative ideas to improve the quality of our product and service offerings.

• Forecast staffing needs and develop approaches to attract and retain talent.

• Organize training programs to ensure associates deliver a high-quality customer experience.

• Negotiate agreements and manage vendor performance.

• Ensure legal and operational compliance for all businesses.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of progressive experience in lodging, restaurants, retail stores or resorts.

• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and with remote departments that support the businesses.

• Experience working with government agencies to build non-profit, community-owned outdoor recreational assets, like bike trails a plus.

• Solid financial and analytical skills to identify opportunities and solve problems.

• Detail-oriented self-starter who's able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of hospitality software platforms a plus.
