Indianhead Medical Center (IMC) is a 25-bed critical access hospital and clinic that has been providing quality care to the surrounding communities for over 70 years. Services include inpatient, outpatient, clinical, surgical, rehabilitation with extensive inpatient and outpatient therapies, and emergency care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the IMC family.

As a CMA with IMC, you would enjoy a variety of nursing related duties in our newly constructed Shell Lake Clinic. CMA’s will work directly with our providers following established standards and practices. You would enjoy a consistent, Monday – Friday schedule working day shift/clinic hours – no Saturday’s! CMA's will be based at our Shell Lake Medical Campus, but may need to pick up shifts at our Siren Clinic based on business need.

A CMA at IMC must:

· Be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant (CMA) program, or licensed practical nurse (LPN) program.

· Possess current certification through AAMA or Wisconsin LPN license or equivalent certification program within 90 days of hire

· Have a current CPR certification

· At least one year of clinical experience is preferred

· Provide professional and compassionate patient care
