Job Summary - Landscape Crew Lead

JH Property Services, an award winning property management company, is seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of landscapers and ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. The Landscape Crew Lead will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, communicating with clients, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in completing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

● Ensure that all landscaping tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.

● Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and addressing their concerns.

● Maintain all equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition.

● Ensure that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed by the crew.

● Train and coach crew members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures.

● Perform regular quality control checks to ensure that all tasks are completed to company standards.

● Assist in the development and implementation of new landscaping projects.

● Provide regular progress reports to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● At least 2 years of experience in the landscaping industry.

● Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of landscapers.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

● Knowledge of different types of grass, plants, trees, and shrubs.

● Knowledge of landscaping equipment and maintenance.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions:

This position will require outdoor work in various weather conditions, such as extreme heat or cold, rain, and snow. The Landscape Crew Lead may also be required to work weekends and evenings depending on project schedules.
