BDi Machinery Sales, Inc. is an importer of specialty agricultural equipment to meet the needs of fruit, vegetable, row-crop and nursery growers. We are actively recruiting for a Full-Time Customer Service Representative to support our growing company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Business Development

• Identify and contact dealers to sell imported and domestic products
• Outline territories and local dealers for sales of products, parts and service training
• Investigate new and existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Research to understand market trends and customer needs
• Aggregate information to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Focus on growing our brands and increasing market share presence

Dealer Development

• Routine contact to dealers to nurture relationships
• Provide and update dealer qualifications, generate documents sales/service /financial
• Distribute materials for dealers training for sales, parts and services
• Warranty processing, implement warranty policies and procedures, manage claims procedure

Sales Support:

• Cold calling prospects throughout BDi territory to introduce company and brands. Solicit orders or talks with customers/prospects by email or phone and provide to sales manager.
• Activities to generate interest for products with new customers, while making contract with existing customers.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, installations, and application support, so salespersons can demonstrate equipment uses.
• Provide technical information on machine application, use, maintenance and repair
• Process customer orders and product related requests
• Execute daily/weekly outbound cold calling from lists on record and acquiring new lead sources.
• Outreach to customers on repairs as needed.
• Maintain computer and hard copy of whole goods and support parts inventory

Technology and Marketing

• Distribute company sales and marketing programs
• Support activities to generate website views of content/images
• Create email blasts, and admin for social media outlets as company SME
• Support content collection to provide information for literature updates
• Support Trade Shows scheduling, display exposition concepts, promotions, logistics, travel/support and participate

Requirements

• Associates degree in Business or related field or comparable technical degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support role, marketing support role or relevant operational experience in related fields such as sales, or project management
• Proficient in PC Platform with Microsoft Office software applications including Excel, Word and

PowerPoint, and Database Query (ideally in QuickBooks)

• Experienced in social media
• Knowledge of quoting process
• Strong and consistent attention to detail
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excels in time management, multi-tasking and balancing multiple projects at one time in a fast- paced environment
• Flexibility and capability to take on special assignments/projects as directed by supervisor
• Ability to work independently
• Deadline oriented
• Friendly and positive attitude and demeanor
• Works well with others especially in a team setting
