Local trucking company is seeking an experienced dispatcher to manage trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes.
• Responsible for professional, timely, and effective internal and external driver interaction via phone calls and system messages, by building and maintaining a positive attitude to strengthen driver engagement in order to minimize turnover and improve driver satisfaction and productivity
• Track and trace shipments for on-time performance, and communicate updated status to customer
• Ensure all customer requests are processed and received, including orders and pickup requests
• Responsible for Planning, Scheduling, and Managing CDL-A Drivers
• Data entry

Requirements:

• Knowledge of DOT hours of service
• Detail-oriented and comfortable learning/using multiple software systems
• Strong planning skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Perform any other projects and duties as assigned

Salary depends on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
