The Ken Young Company is one of the largest screen print & embroidery companies in southwest Georgia, handling orders with quantities anywhere from 12 to 10-20,000 pieces. We've printed for The White House, Hard Rock Cafe, Yellowstone National Park, Applebee's and more, including local schools, hospitals, families, and businesses.

This is not a remote or freelance position.

Responsibilities:

• Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designs
• Handle orders for the designs from start to finish
• Maintain & archive digital & physical files
• Communicate with Customer Service, Screen Print & Embroidery departments as needed
• Submit proofs for project approval
• Revise art as needed until approval
• Send or print final art for production
• Check test prints for design & color accuracy; edit as needed for a quality print
• Occasionally talk with the client, in person or on the phone, to discuss the project in more detail
• Use our project management app (Trello) to keep art departmental work organized (requires: very quick/simple data entry, uploading proofs associated with each order including revised proofs and keeping the status of each order updated as it moves through the process.)

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in design for screen printing preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of Mac computers preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with setting up designs for print preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Work well with others, in a team environment
• Adapt quickly to changes
• Time management & efficiency in your work is imperative
• Willing to learn

Compensation:

• This position will pay $15 to $25/hr, depending on experience
• Full time: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with some potential overtime
• We are closed during the following holidays:

1 week off for July 4th

1 week off for Christmas

2 days off for Thanksgiving

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
