HEAD SERVER - $15 / hr + GRATUITIES !!!

Cornells in Little Italy is looking to hire a head server to develop, elevate, and lead our front-of-house staff. The right candidate must have great leadership skills, the ability to pay attention to detail, and strong communication skills. We are looking for someone to work with our management and staff to make our guest experience unforgettable. Duties include:

• Responsible for training current and future staff on epicable steps of fine dining service
• Over seeing service support staff
• Ensuring staff is knowledgeable on all menu, bar and daily special items
• Checking daily protocols are being performed, and being delegated fairly
• Checks daily that staff uniforms are accurate
• Positive communication with management, kitchen staff, bussers, hostess and bar staff
• Providing over the top service to guest while checking in with staff during service hours
• Ensuring all sidework, setup, breakdown and cleaning is completed daily
• Thorough ability to utilize clover pos
• Creating balanced sections and stations daily
• Work with management to create FOH schedule

Requirements:

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Success with customer service
• Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent organization skills and attention to details
• Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
• Prolonged periods being on your feet
• Ability to lift 25lbs
• Positive attitude and confidence
• Availability on holidays
