SCOPE – HR RECRUITER
Responsible for hiring hourly employees to support JTM's Operational objectives. Must be able to fully understand the requirements of each department and the skills required for each position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – HR RECRUITER
  • Identification and sourcing of talent.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Manager to create impactful advertising, driving engagement across social media, diversity outreach and proactive solicitation of referrals.
  • Accountable for effective use of recruitment and branding materials to engage and communicate the JTM Way with internal and external talent.
  • Proactively provide market intelligence and recruiting insights to Hiring Managers and HR, demonstrating value as a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver an engaging candidate experience by uncovering and understanding factors that influence talent, knowing their motivators and adjusting recruitment approach to manage a variety of situations.
  • Understand, demonstrate, and accurately represent JTM's total value proposition and JTM Principles when discussing employment at JTM.
  • Coach candidates on how to effectively prepare for selection stages and provide feedback in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for correctly posting jobs in Applicant Tracking Software and ensuring timely contact and communications with candidates through the hiring process, including responsibility for closing out postings in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the business to understand critical roles and what “successful candidates” look like.
  • Attend industry events, Career Fairs, and community networking as required
  • Must be knowledgeable of background checks and drug testing procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to all pre-employment checks.
  • Responsible to collaboratively develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies in order to hire the best possible talent efficiently and effectively for JTM.
  • Assist in the onboarding process.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
SUCCESS CRITERIA – HR RECRUITER
  • Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed.
  • BRC Compliance.
  • Staffing at Required levels by department.
  • High level of candidate and employee engagement.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – HR RECRUITER
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years working in Talent Acquisition and at least 2 working for in manufacturing.
  • Proven capability in effectively managing concurrent hiring, priorities, and stakeholders at different stages of the recruitment lifecycle, without impacting delivery quality and timelines.
  • Proven ability in building strong relationships.
  • Experience conducting behavioral based interviews for a variety of roles with a focus on ‘right first time' hiring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven experience in business partnering, ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Functional knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Prefer candidates who can leverage Social Media platforms to connect with potential candidates.
  • Prefer candidates who can occasionally work on alternate shifts to meet candidates and conduct interviews.
  • This position is an onsite position.
