Summary:
Plan, design, implement, maintain, and provide ongoing optimization and support for LIS software and related enterprise clinical applications. Validate, document and perform workflow assessments and impact analysis. Capture business needs and analyze internal systems to determine requirements for optimal utilization of applications. Possess clinical and application knowledge and experience. Work within cross-functional teams and with end users to meet clinical needs. Conduct tasks and assignments as directed, with moderate instruction and guidance from senior team members, team leads and direct supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

• Designs, implements and maintains configurations in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related enterprise clinical laboratory applications while ensuring quality outcomes.
• Designs, implements and maintains instrument interfaces in Data Innovations (DI) Instrument Manager and LIS.
• Designs, implements and maintains configurations on the laboratory automation line and lab quality assurance applications.
• Maintains effective documentation to ensure compliance with College of American Pathology (CAP) standards.
• Proactively recognizes work that needs to be completed and prioritizes effectively.
• Communicates effectively with team; including but not limited to vendor representatives and end-users.
• Working onsite at core laboratory as primary assignment.
• Use a combination of SQL, Cache Object script, and various tools used to configure instrument settings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
