Position Summary:

This full-time, salaried, on-site position works with the H.T. Hackney corporate IT team which is dedicated to designing, managing, and supporting various IT systems for the entire organization across multiple locations. The position offers opportunity for ongoing learning and professional growth in a fast paced, corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

· Support a large group of end users spread across the US using primarily Windows workstations to access back-end servers including Windows, Linux, and IBM iSeries. Support includes operating system, in-house written software, third party software, printers, peripherals, phones, and tablets

· Document interactions in a ticketing system for accountability and efficiency

· Work with management and others on implementing projects including assisting with training and testing

· Monitor and maintain various systems at the operating system, software, security, and hardware levels

Qualifications:

· Reliability, dependability, self-motivation, and willingness to learn

· Problem solving skills, people skills, and customer service skills are a must

· Troubleshooting skills

· Verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge and interest in general IT systems including Operating systems, printers, basic networks, and software including security software, MS Office, and Active Directory

Experience and Education:

· Experience in IT support or IT-related customer service

· Certification in any IT-related area preferred but not required

· Associates degree in related field considered in lieu of experience
