Position Details:

• Door-to-door community outreach, No selling is required!
• A knowledgeable and friendly introduction to Weed Man Lawn Care for Homeowners
• Responsible for generating leads for our Sales team by offering free, no-obligation lawn care quotes to homeowners.
• Perform fertilizer, weed control, and insect applications for our residential customers' properties
• Quote potential customers in the field for lawn care services
• Performance-based pay
• Apply fertilizer, pesticide treatments, core aeration, and lawn overseeding in the summer months
• Meet with current and prospective customers
• Generate field sales (additional commission rewarded)
• Observe and report lawn conditions to customers
• Complete daily truck checkout procedures
• Participation in the acquisition of new clients through independent lead generation

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by our coverage provider
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds several times each day
• FUN, generally happy, and nice- We want a positive environment for all!

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring for a Lawn Care Apprentice position. This is a year-round, full-time position, with absolutely no forced layoffs! There is no experience necessary for this position! We train and invest in each and every one of our employees. We strive to create a fun, competitive, and rewarding work environment.

Our Lawn Care Apprentice position is centered around our Representatives out in the field. Our Lawn Care Technicians apply fertilizer, weed control, and pest control applications to our customers’ lawns, along with additional lawn care/landscaping services. In the off-season, our Technicians transition into our door-knocking crews, to canvass different treatment areas and be the first introduction to Weed Man Lawn Care for homeowners by offering them a FREE lawn care quote.

Weed Man Lawn Care provides an environmentally responsible approach to fertilization, weed control, & pest management for residential lawns. Our commitment to superior products & building relationships with our customers is what keeps them coming back year after year. All of Weed Man’s success wouldn’t be possible without our Lawn Care Apprentice teams going out, Summer and Fall to provide the absolute best lawn care service in the nation!
