We are looking to hire a Litigation Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant to support a very busy Family Law attorney

Responsibilities

• Transcribing dictation;
• Typing memos, client correspondence, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents;
• Communicating with clients via email and phone;
• Calendaring appointments and court dates;
• Ensuring attorney is prepared and reminded of all appointments;
• Billing attorney time;
• E-filing with multiple courts;
• Managing multiple projects and following up to ensure deadlines are met;

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' prior Legal Secretary or Executive Assistance experience

• Associates' Degree.
• Very strong technical/computer skills to include MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Typing – 50 wpm.
• Strong communication skills – both written and oral.
• Excellent proofreading skills.
• Procedure oriented.
• Outstanding time-management and organizational skills.
• Professionalism.
• Ability to multitask and to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed.
• Experience with Amicus is a bonus.

Firm provides full benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
