FastX is a motorsports shop in San Marcos where we work on Lotus and other exotic road cars, track cars, and build custom project cars with custom wiring, suspension, etc. We are slightly different from most shops as we are lower volume, high quality, and high customer service. I am a Mech E and I am looking for another engineer to help with custom projects/race support.

I am hiring a new graduate engineer who is interested in motorsports. The job will have a lot of sides, custom car building/mechanic work, wiring, some component design and manufacture (for example we just made a part to fix a common issue on lotus Evoras where the shifter breaks and you can't buy a replacement), track support which will eventually involve data analysis and suspension setup at the track and other similar tasks. It would be a bonus if you know how to tig weld or fabricate.

The job is mostly 8-5 Monday to Friday with track support on the weekend (currently around 10 weekends). Some tools will be required but I will work with you on this. It is a benefit to the candidate if they already have some tools on their own of course.
