We currently have an opening for an Operations Finance Manager based at our site in Maple Grove, MN.

The Operations Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to accurately analyze performance, drive planning, and understand profitability of the Products business globally. This role will support the US, UK, and Asia BioThermal entities.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with Operations leaders to develop and monitor KPIs, weekly variance reporting, and production reporting.
• Lead Inventory analysis to identify excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory with the goal of reducing working capital to appropriate levels.
• Enhance standard costing system to drive profitability reporting.
• Lead make vs. buy analyses.
• Landed cost analysis for global supply chain.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, maintains the accuracy and reliability of BOMs and Routings.
• Prepare account reconciliations, and analysis for all inventory related activities including material consumption, labor and overhead.
• Perform settlement process to cost inventory production.
• Develop direct labor, overhead, freight and storage rates used for annual standard cost rolls.
• Investigate and analyze balance sheet transactions for accuracy utilizing financial understanding to trace to source data and validate transactions.
• Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance, and development such as production, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, receiving, shipping, and other.
• Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follow safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• 4-year degree in accounting/finance required.
• 5-7 years’ experience in cost accounting or FP&A required.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or a related industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SAP preferred.
