JOB SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Manager will assist the Director of Pharmacy with daily supervision of drug distribution and clinical pharmacy service activities to meet medication management standards and maintain regulatory compliance. Responsibilities may also include assisting the Director Pharmacy with: • Sterile compounding- compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 chapters • Formulary management, including communication to clinical staff regarding drug shortages and mitigation strategies • Safety event investigation and follow-up • Implementation of patient safety initiatives and quality assurance activities • Annual PQAC self inspections • Policy and procedure development and review • Staff competencies and education

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Graduate of accredited school of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Experience
Recent hospital experience with a strong clinical component.
Pharmacy informatics and pharmacy automation experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials
Registered Pharmacist in the State of Washington, required.
