RWJ Community Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist Outreach to join their team. This is for a Part Time Night shift.

In this key role, the Phlebotomist Outreach obtains patient blood samples by venipuncture or capillary puncture using aseptic techniques and collection skills appropriate to the age and level of difficulty of the patient. The skilled individual performs venipuncture at Skilled Nursing Facilities and enters lab orders as required. All responsibilities are performed integral to the identification/preparation of specimens for assay.

Hours:

• Weekdays 4:30 A – 8:30 A
• Rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal Phlebotomy program, or equivalent work experience.
• Computer and order entry skills.
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Valid NJ Driver's license in good standing.
