Days: Sunday – Tuesday 6:00AM – 6:30PM

Wednesday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 4:30PM

Nights: Sunday – Thursday 5:00PM – 1:30AM

Tuesday – Saturday 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Distribution Center (DC) Outfitter will perform various duties, based upon DC needs. This role will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects as needed and perform various duties as assigned. Production standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of the position that are closely monitored.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs one of the following Distribution Center functions:

• Loads or unloads trailers by hand.
• Fills customer orders by inspecting merchandise and matching merchandise to order.
• Stocks merchandise to ensure availability of items.
• Packs customer orders for shipment.
• Selects and verifies product for fulfillment and routes to the next area or packs for shipping.
• Assigns and reassigns pick locations based on information from reports and maintain an accurate listing of all locations.
• Sorts merchandise as appropriate, process, ticket, or sort merchandise for retail locations.
• Performs returns processing for customer orders.
• Cleans and repairs different reel models and determines if repair is under warranty.
• Maintains work area by cleaning as needed.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to pay close attention to detail and must work well with numbers.
• Ability to communicate with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner and be a team player.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly walks, stands and lifts up to 50lbs.
• Seldom/never sits or performs computer work.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
