Job Type: Hybrid able to commute

Responsibilities:

-The Semi-Senior Accountant will manage a variety of tax, accounting and other assignments as designated by the Manager

-At this level, the Semi-Senior Accountant should function with minimal supervision and independent problem solving, and strengthening client relationships

-Work as an effective team member to complete project assignments and engagement tasks

-Identify clients' needs and opportunities

-Preparation of Forms 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, 1065,990 and multiple state return also various Sales tax,payroll and reporting requirements.

-Compile financial statements for small and midsized businesses with minimum supervision

-Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts and analyzing financial statements.

-Complete multiple assignments in a timely manner The Senior Accountant will manage a variety of tax, accounting and other assignments as designated by the Manager

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

-3 years of recent general income tax experience in a public accounting firm,

-Proficiency in the use of firm standard software such as QuickBooks desktop and online, Proseries, Lacerte at must.

-Strong verbal and communication skill Bilingual Spanish and English at must.

-Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic

-Excellent collaboration skills and are able to multi-task

-Strong organizational skills and are detail-oriented

-Due to continual changes in tax regulations, continuing education is required
