Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper

Amerinac Holding is looking for a qualified candidate to conduct the accounting responsibilities defined below.

POSITION SUMMARY: Working under the direction of the Staff Accountant, this position is responsible for performing general accounting and payroll functions and assisting in preparing financial data for multiple companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Post lockbox and operating cash account activities
• Input A/P invoices
• Post A/R cash
• Storage and retrieval of accounting documents
• Assist with various aspects of payroll:

• Prepare inter-company billings.

• Prepare various general ledger and account reconciliations
• Assist with preparing sales tax reports.
• Complete bank statement reconciliation.
• Complete miscellaneous duties, reports and projects, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate or bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience performing accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial statement preparation, bank statement reconciliation.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll, payroll tax laws, and sales tax laws.

Hands-on expert level proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A willingness to learn, and grow in skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
