Accounting Director

Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., a family-owned mining, mineral processing and ready-mix corporation, with headquarters in the foothills of the Black Hills, Rapid City, South Dakota, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Director to join our Corporate Accounting Team.

The Accounting Director will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, developing & implementing accounting systems, supervision of staff & adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position will analyze systems and processes to identify efficiencies without sacrificing accuracy & accountability.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or public accounting and tax experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional leadership skills and previous managerial and financial reporting experience desired.
