Architectural Designer/Intern/ Draftsperson

Small New Jersey architectural firm, based in Paramus, NJ, seeking full-time motivated individual to join an innovative, focused, client-based team. Daily tasks include client interaction, design development and construction documents. Firm specializes in new custom residences and renovations, retail stores, mixed –use, multi-family, medical buildings, and car dealerships.

Necessary qualifications:

· Bachelor of Architecture

· AutoCAD experience ( 1-2 years minimum)

· Ability to work well with deadlines

· Ability to work collaboratively

· Architectural Drafting experience (minimum 1-2 years)

· Ability to hand-sketch, develop preliminary designs, 3D models, renderings

· Adobe

· Microsoft

Essential duties:

· Coordination and development from inception to completion

· Ability to assist in the production of design and construction drawings.

· Generate as-built drawings

· Effective communication/project analysis to firm

Compensation:

· Salary to be determined commensurate with experience and abilities

· Paid time-off

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
