No experience necessary. We are looking for individuals to join our assembly training program to learn how to create copper and fiber cables. Advance through five level, hands-on training program, with pay increases based on advancement. Full-Time year round job. We are looking for someone who can make a long-term commitment. Paid training, holidays and time off. Pay increase upon completion of training. Opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble products in a predetermined time-frame.
• Assemble products using tools including pliers, screwdriver and wire cutters.
• Follow written and verbal instructions diligently.
• Follow Assembly and other instructional material at all times.
• Effectively communicate with co-workers.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Actively participate in the Assembler Training Program which includes training in safety, assembly methods and techniques, tool and equipment usage.
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workstation.
• Follow safety instructions at all times.
• Assist Quality Control and Production manager as necessary.
• Contribute to a pleasant, productive and positive work environment by maintaining a positive and open attitude.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve and take action as necessary.
• Detail oriented.
• Flexibility.
• Positive attitude.
• Basic math.
• No experience necessary.

Physical Demands:

• Able to sit for extended periods of time with regularly scheduled breaks.
• Good eyesight (corrective accepted) and good color recognition.
• Good manual dexterity with free movement of fingers, hands, wrists and elbows.
• Able to perform tasks that require repetitive movement of hands, wrist and arms, for extended periods of time. Including but not limited to twisting, bending and squeezing.
