Pharmacist – Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m

Come join a great clinical team and practice a unique type of pharmacy! 1st Option Home Infusion is a 35 year old, accredited home infusion and specialty pharmacy providing home nutritional support, home infusion, oncology, med management, pharmacokinetics and disease management services to patients in the home setting. Currently, we are seeking a motivated clinical pharmacist for our pharmacy department.

Full and Part Time schedules available.

No shift work, Monday through Friday 8-5!

Required Skills:

Experienced in management of pharmacy operations and pharmacy personnel

Excellent clinical and pharmacy skills

Ability to prioritize and coordinate clinical workload

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to coordinate pharmacy services with nursing services

Demonstrate proper aseptic technique for compounding I.V. medications

Ability to learn pharmacy computer programs

Required Experience:

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an accredited institution

Current Louisiana pharmacy license

Pharmacy management experience preferred

Home infusion, oncology or hospital experience preferred
