Summary

Everlast Metals, Architectural Team is looking for a resourceful, energetic Commercial Project Manager who will be responsible for supporting our architecturally specified projects from the bidding stage through project completion. This role will work hand-in-hand with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Distribution to deliver metal building component packages to our customers.

Exceptional critical thinking skills * Innately results driven * Ability to articulate design issues, and define paths to resolution both verbally and with documentation * Self-motivated and curious, with a high tolerance for ambiguity * Experience organizing and maintaining data on several concurrent projects * Ability to interpret architectural blueprints, sketches, and specifications * Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy * Strong verbal and written communications skills * MS Excel proficiency/CAD proficiency * Reacts well to changes in relation to time-sensitive deliverables and is able to quickly and appropriately change gears * Highly proficient with computers leadership experience

Description

• Perform Wind Uplift, Structural, and Load calculations

• Review building specifications, shop drawings, and product test reports

• Identify and close gaps in product testing data

• Help Project Managers build submittal packages for architecturally specified jobs

• Assist estimating team in making materials lists and product recommendations for projects

• Provide engineering support and technical assistance to installers

• Maintain industry knowledge

Education and Experience.

Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree preferred, however prior experience in estimating and construction can be considered in lieu of.

Previous Experience: Understanding engineering concepts civil/structural preferred, will consider other areas of focus (e.g., Agricultural or Mechanical) 3-5 years' work experience preferred. Leadership experience with a proven track record of success and growth in career path. Must have a minimum of basic knowledge of full cycle job process experience. Experience with being on job sites. Commercial construction experience (strongly preferred).
