Juanita Bay Veterinary Hospital, in Kirkland, WA is looking for a dynamic, compassionate, customer service expert with a positive attitude to join their team as a Customer Service Representative. JBVH team members work in unison with one common goal, each one playing an integral role in providing exceptional care to our patients as well as facilitating accurate and timely communications with our clients. We consider the Customer Service Representative to be a critical member of our pet care team because they are often the first and last point of contact with our clients. How we deliver service adds value to our entire organization, therefore it is essential that our team members are compassionate and care about pets and helping those that love them.

Team Members are eligible for coverage on the first of the month following 60 days from the date of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Availability to work full-time (35-40 hrs.) Monday - Friday 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm, (Staff alternate Saturdays)
• Front desk coordination of patient triage, data entry, invoicing, and payment transactions
• Appointment scheduling via phone and email using Cornerstone veterinary practice management software
• Client education
• Maintain high standard of hospital safety and cleanliness

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Veterinary experience preferred, but not required
• Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter that can prioritize tasks and work calmly under pressure while maintaining a friendly, compassionate and professional demeanor
• Proficient in data entry and general computer skills
• Efficiency multitasking at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellence in customer service as well as client and team communication
• Ability to accurately convey medical information from veterinarian to client via written and verbal communication and maintain confidentiality when needed
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for several hours at a time, and handle dogs on leash
