Dermatology Medical Assistant

Auburn Dermatology Center is looking for an experienced medical assistant to join our team. This person must be passionate about medicine, a true team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Full and part time applicants will be considered. Must be available Monday-Thursday. This position has upward mobility in a rapidly growing company!

Primary Responsibilities

· Rooming patients

· Taking vital signs

· Scribing for providers during the patient exam

· Setting up for procedures

· Assisting with surgery

· Processing pathology specimens

Qualifications

· 1-3 years recent experience in medical assisting (preferred)

· Must have experience working with an EMR

· Advanced understanding of medical terminology

· Dermatology experience a plus
