Univera has a strong internship program that seeks to provide ambitious and conscientious students with work-based learning experiences, including “hands-on” experience in web content, design, and/or development. Flexibility is one of the greatest aspects of this internship; we are looking for part-time interns, 8 to 24 hours a week. This internship schedule can be adapted to school/class schedules.

SUMMARY

The Marketing Internship is a supporting role within the Univera Team, reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Coordinator. The intern will assist the Marketing team Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Univera Copywriter with some light copy and content writing, marketing, web content editing, and graphic design. Other duties could extend to creating handouts, and photography. Our ideal candidate is excited to be part of a small team, is self-motivated, works well independently, has a “figure it out” attitude and has a strong interest in growing a diverse set of marketing skills quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Interest in marketing

· Strong aptitude for technology

· Social Media Savvy (Major Social Media Platforms, familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest)

· Highly analytical and technologically savvy with demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to acclimate to new software

· Exposure to and/or comfort with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and basic code (HTML/CSS)

· Both creative and technical abilities

· Good work ethic/attitude/willingness to learn

· A current college student and/or a student seeking OPT after graduating college

EXPERIENCE

· Must be currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree

· Exceptional web content skills and social media savvy

· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Wordpress

· High analytical and technological savvy with problem-solving skills

· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, including cross-functional teams, and as an individual contributor

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Previous event experience preferred

SALARY for this position begins at $15.74 per hour depending on experience
