Job Title: Driver and Maintenance Clerk
Department: Maintenance
Report To: Maintenance Manager
Location: East Bernard, TX

Position Summary:

Responsible for general maintenance and machine maintenance and deliveries and drop off.

This position is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance demands of the corporate office and manufacturing floor for Dorian Tool International. This is an entry level position and can advance to other positions with proven track record.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Trash removal from corporate and manufacturing plant (may require use of forklift)
• General maintenance including painting etc., machine fluid and metal waste removal
• Help other maintenance clerks with various tasks
• Manage all cleaning supplies and inventory levels
• Follow all company safety protocols, maintain work area to standards
• Driver, deliveries and drop off.

Education and Work Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years’ experience in general janitorial and maintenance a plus
• Able to work fast paced environment, stay on task and schedule
• Reliable transportation to work a M-F 7am to 5pm schedule
• Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Driver License
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Physical Demands:

Standing for long periods of time, walking, bending sitting, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders, climb stairs, squatting, kneeling, bending, good sense of sound, vision, sense of smell, sense of touch, ability to ware personal protective equipment such as steel toe boots and safety glasses.
