Exim Logistics is seeking an experienced dispatcher for our container and intermodal drayage business. We are looking for a team player with strong computer skills and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of all import/export bookings in our drop & hook logistics operation.

Responsibilities:

· Provide front line customer service support, responding to customer requests, offering solutions to meet customer needs.

· Monitor emails and respond to customers in timely manner.

· Receive delivery orders from customers and sales personnel by email.

· Provide tracking updates to customer, on time pickup and delivery.

· Coordinate with drivers and update their moves in TMS System.

· Track driver movement.

· Provide phone contact and support for drivers.

· Able and willing to work two Saturday’s a month.

· Monitor truck driver hours of service, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations.

· Update production sheet with booking changes.

· Monitor Vessel arrival dates and update system with most recent first receiving date, cut-off date, last free date, empty container pick-up/ return etc.

· Keep track of equipment and add status on all returned chassis.

· Communicate with Shipping line and Port on obtaining EIR’s for Export / Import and Damage containers.

· Request and manage Street-Turns.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations recommended.

· Must be comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven, stressful environment.

· Be able to work well independently and Team-oriented. Working collaboratively to achieve team goals.

· Minimum of six months to one year of experience in truck scheduling and dispatching or industry experience.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others to achieve the best results and deliver the most value.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,151.00 - $56,905.00 per year
