What Are We Looking for in the Ideal Candidates?

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist (CQS) who will validate and review product to ensure they meet company and industry standards and customer special quality requirements. This person will work with company internal departments to conclude quality analysis. An experienced Quality Assurance Specialist purpose will include coaching and counseling inspection while providing service support to Customers, Distributors and Channel Partners

What will you be doing?

  • Investigate and resolve customer rejections and claims
  • Provide corrective action and root cause analysis as needed
  • Manage customer related issues, waivers, DPPM, etc. via-customer portal
  • Work jointly with customer and suppliers on resolving supplier driven rejections
  • Support Inspection team on clarification of customer requirements and flow downs
  • Quarantine defective stock while taking measure to ensure the issue is caught and resolved
  • Support Supplier Quality (SQ) Team on supplier corrective actions that pertain to your customer
  • Manage daily customer claims in 48 hours or less
  • Manage customer’s quality rating monthly
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Able to perform audits internally and externally
  • Works on special or ongoing projects.
  • Prepares metrics and delivers to management
  • Perform additional duties as requested

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • SAP system knowledge, highly preferred
  • Certification in Quality Auditor or Quality Improvements- (Highly desired)
  • Certification on blueprint reading and basic shop math (Required)
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work autonomously without supervision
  • Be a critical and analytical thinker & problem solver
  • Sound judgement abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an error-free work product
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Additional duties as they may be assigned

Experience:

  • 3-5 years aerospace fasteners experience required
  • Certification is Quality Auditor, or Quality Improvement Associate
  • Extensive experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • First article of Inspection (Required)
  • Excel skills: Proficient
  • Additional education and/or related training is a huge plus

Rate of Pay:

  • $64,480.00 Annually
  • 5% Annual Bonus Potential
