Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Urgent Care Clinic

CareFirst Urgent Care is immediately hiring a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a full-time Provider position in our Norwood Clinic. This Provider position works 7 - 12 hour shifts per 2 week pay period. Providers make their own schedules, receive a competitive benefits package and have a support staff of Medical Assistants, Medical Receptionists, as well as Office Managers and Collaborating Physicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations on patients of all ages in an urgent care clinic setting.
• Assess, diagnose and prescribe for various illnesses and minor injuries.
• DOT Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Perform minor procedures such as I&Ds and suturing.

Qualifications:

• Certified APRN, Family Nurse Practitioner
• New Grads - Experienced Providers are welcome to apply
