We are looking to fill a part time position. This is a year round job in an historic Gloucester, Ma. building. We are a small, new and vibrant farm to table bar/restaurant on Main street.

For these positions we are looking for motivated people that are passionate, enthusiastic and inspired by creative local food and drink. With our locally sourced ever changing menu we are looking for individuals with interest to learn and share the knowledge about local farms, good food and ocean fair.

We are looking for ambitious individuals to assist in daily operations. Each night you will perform tasks such as setting up workstations, preparing for each nights service, learning about international food and work with some of the best local ingredients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to follow instructions, all health and safety rules as well as be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

Responsibilities
* Following and finishing list before service
* Label and organize stations so they can be easily accessible and understood by all
* Working as and equal part of a fast and small team
* Being Prepared and knowledge on the menu for each service
* Undertake basic food and service knowledge
* Prepare simple, friendly and accurate ways of communicating with customers and co-workers
* Maintain a clean and orderly person and station by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
* Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
* Perform other duties as assigned

Skill
* Knowledge of health and safety rules
* Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools, kitchen utensils, handling minor chemicals, cleaning etc.
* A team player with good communication skills
* Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
* Good physical condition and endurance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
