Southern Marsh is seeking a talented, multi-faceted graphic designer who is enthusiastic about working in the fashion and retail industry. You will assist in the creation of marketing and collateral materials, product design, catalogs, website design, and much more. As a graphic designer on the creative team, you must be ready and willing to take on a wide variety of projects and back up other team members, as needed. The graphic designer position will report to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the design team in the conceptualization and creation of designs for new products, including t-shirts, patterns, tags, labels, etc.
• Conceptualize and create materials for retail locations, including banners, window graphics, display furniture, etc.
• Manage and coordinate all design requests from internal and external sources
• Ensure an appropriate level of style & fashion is infused in all creative work consistent with the brand & target audience
• Conceptualize and create materials for regional markets and other retail events, including banners, posters, catalogs, cups, etc.
• Create billboards and magazine ads
• Assist the marketing team in the creation of marketing e-mail content
• Assist the marketing team in the creation of content for southernmarsh.com

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience creating a high-level design for print and web
• Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Must perform well under pressure
• Must be an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment, with an emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign
• Must possess strong typography skills and knowledge of contemporary design
• Must have a keen eye for color
• Must have a strong sense of fashion and/or apparel industries
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience with file formatting for print and web
• Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and confidently with internal clients to determine their visual communication needs, present ideas, and take a project from start to finish
• Must be familiar with current social media trends and be able to deliver fresh graphics that are consistent with those trends
• HTML/CSS experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
