Job Description :

This position is responsible for analyzing and supporting all information technology needs to include all areas of information systems (i.e., desktop and laptops, shop computers and applications, VoIP Phone system, LAN/WAN, Cell Phones).

KEY FOUNDATIONAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Technical Qualifications:

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Education/Certifications:

College degree in Information Technology OR at least 1-3 years of experience in the IT area. Organization and communication skills must be highly developed. Computer skills should be at a high level. This person must possess a valid driver’s license.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for tier 1 or 2 support and upkeep of our ticketing system which provides technical support of computers, phones, printers, mobile devices and copiers, Along with our Business system, and multitude of programs used across all departments

Analyzes and troubleshoots remote computing components such as Cell phones, Hotspot connection, and Remote field software in a machine down situation.

Provides basic training for products and programs of an IT nature to meet the needs of the region.

Creates and installs new systems, transfer data, and/or modification of existing systems, setting up new facilities.

Monitors functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.

Responsible for all I.T. inventory and tracking of User ID’s, hardware, software licenses.

Maintains and documents all general IT support such as password resets, break/fix and PC/Application troubleshooting.

Travels, when necessary, to remote locations for all the above.

Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, and printers via remote support.

Loads specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs into computer.

Enters commands and observes system functions to verify correct system operation.

Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems.

Instructs users in use of equipment, software, and manuals.

Recommends or performs minor remedial actions to correct problems.

Coordinates activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups.

Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
