PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Reporting to the Network Administrator, provide both hardware/software supports for PC Systems and any computer/data communications related support for Ansen. Provide as needed support for any system within the facility.

A qualified candidate will have some experience/capability with:

- Microsoft Active Directory (creating users, groups, etc)

- Troubleshooting end-user issues (software, printers, etc)

- Terminating Ethernet cables

- General problem solving skills

A strong candidate will have some experience/capability with:

- Linux

- Microsoft Exchange (creating mailboxes, lists, etc)

- Cisco switching and routing (ios, nx-os)

- Virtualization (Proxmox VE, vmware, etc)

- Common scripting and programming languages (bash, powershell, php, etc)

An exceptional candidate will have:

- Strong Linux knowledge including advanced networking and administration

- In-depth AD knowledge (management, troubleshooting, security, etc)

- MS-Exchange administrative knowledge (management, troubleshooting, security, etc)

- MS-SQL administrative knowledge (scripted backups, performance optimization, security, etc)

- Hands-on experience with modern networking technologies including pvlan, mstp/rstp, ospf, vxlan, and bgp-evpn (Cisco, FRR)

- Extensive scripting and programming knowledge

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
