Dakota Oil is the lubricants division of Harms Oil Company distributing motor oil, additives, and other aftermarket products throughout the five-state region. We specialize in finding the right product for our customers needs, providing technical support and service excellence to commercial, industrial, and agricultural end users.

Position Summary:

Drivers at Dakota Oil are responsible for delivering a variety of lubricants and related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner while providing the highest levels of customer service.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of company equipment in the accurate delivery of product to customers.
• Provide exemplary service to customers as the representative of the company.
• Perform truck inspections and report condition of the truck at the beginning and end of each trip or tour of duty.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations including drivers record of duty status, mileage records, and other records required by law.
• Unload trucks, perform inventory counts, sort and place materials or items in proper inventory locations.
• Make small, local deliveries of product as needed.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED, with three months or more related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements; will allow up to 60 days to obtain Hazmat endorsement.
• Forklift training preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
