Marketing Communications Specialist

Great River Technology (GRT) is looking for a talented and highly motivated Marketing Communications Specialist to join its Albuquerque team.

Job Description:

In this role, you will join our marketing team to promote Great River's products and services worldwide through wedsite development, on-line advertising, digital/print media and other channels. You will lead efforts for improving our online presence and executing effective advertising and promotional campaigns. You will be an essential contributor for building our brand, promoting our products, enhancing our reputation, and increasing our sales.

Minimum Requirements:

• A 4-year degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media or related degree.
• 5 or more years experience digital media marketing in a technical industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with: website design, document layout and design, online advertising, effective application of SEO, and effective use of web analytics tools

Job Responsibilities:

• Clearly communicate the benefits of GRT's product offering
• Advertising (Lead) – Find appropriate advertising channels, develop a yearly advertising plan and budget, create or oversee the creative design of advertisement, and track the effectiveness of our ad spend. Ads include both print and digital platforms.
• Website Development and Maintenance (Lead) – Develop and maintain aesthetically pleasing GRT websites that have an intuitive layout, properly promote GRT products, and provide informative and accurate content.
• SEO (Lead) – Employ SEO best practices to keep GRT at the top of organic searches for keywords important to our industry and products.
• Website Analytics (Lead) – Employ web analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics, SEMRush) to constantly improve the effectiveness of our website and to provide insight to management.
• Marketing Collateral (Lead) – Design and keep up-to-date product datasheets, and other marketing collateral.
• Trade Shows & Events (Team Lead) – Help choose appropriate shows, prepare and ship booth exhibits, help staff booth, track leads from show, and follow up after show.

In addition, you will play an essential role in supporting GRT's team with:

• Technical articles and papers
• Strategic marketing
• Competitive product analysis
• Lead nurturing workflows to stay better connected with prospective customers

Great River Technology, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, specializes in mission-critical, high- performance digital video development tools and services for commercial aerospace and military customers. We have off-the-shelf board-level products for high-speed video links and point-to-point data transmission.
