Job Description :

We are actively seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Our Medical Assistants are responsible for routine patient care and standard clerical duties to support our providers in the care and treatment of patients. They will take and record vital signs and ask patient questions regarding symptoms, concerns, and medical history.

What will you do?

  • Greet and room patients, assist with patient vital signs, and answer questions regarding pre and post-operative instructions
  • Record patient medical history and additional pertinent information, such as test results, in medical record
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition as necessary
  • Report emergency situations immediately
  • Assist in patient discharge
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  • Support the RN and NP with return patient calls and follow up on pathology results
  • Travel with the physician team to outreach clinics 2 to 3 days per week**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Medical Assistant registration / certification (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
