Innovative Systems Architect’s mission is to deliver our customers superior software products that exceed industry standards. Currently, we are partnered with the 84 RADES at Hill Air Force Base to develop software that visualizes, analyzes, and monitors radar data. These tools help support our nations’ defense, air traffic safety, and search and rescue. They provide a wide range of capabilities from advanced data visualization, data analytics, client/server architecture, user applications, and relational and non-relational databases.

ISA is looking for highly qualified software engineers to work on-site in our offices at Hill Air Force Base. If you are an experienced software developer with 2 or more years’ experience with C++ we invite you to apply.

Required Qualifications:

• UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• 2-5 years C++ programming experience in the Windows environment.
• Proficiency in C++ including STL, memory management, threads, and synchronization
• Experience with full software lifecycle including specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance
• Experience with a structured, process-driven software development environment. This includes peer reviews of all work products, use of a revision control system, and defect tracking and build release practices.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing complex problems and developing solutions
• Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with understanding and applying software design patterns.
• Experience with applied automated testing techniques including unity and integration testing.
• Experience with test framework/application and system verification
• Experience with object-oriented design (OOD)
• A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD security clearance at a secret level
• Experience with network programming, TCP/IP, and UDP/IP protocols
• Experience with markup languages, e.g., XML, YAML
