Job Description:
Lenser & Brush Pediatric Urgent Care is a NEW start-up Pediatric specific Urgent Care in Modesto, CA. We are looking for a PART or FULL-TIME Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Our anticipated opening date is April 1, 2023. Family Practice or Pediatric experience is desirable, but will train the right candidate.

Essential Functions:
* Under physician(s) supervision, the NP or PA provides acute care services to pediatric patients age
Birth - 21 years.
* Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
* Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient’s condition.
* Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as
necessary.
* Prescribes or recommends medications.

* Provides treatment for minor injuries, lacerations and other procedures, inhalation therapy or related therapeutic procedures.
* Refers patients to their primary care physician for follow-up.

Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
* Current Registered Nurse license in California for Nurse Practitioners.
* Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
* Pediatrics or Family Practice experience.
* Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
* Current DEA or Furnishing Certificate.
* Current CPR certification.
* ACLS ( preferred)

Hours of Operation:

* 11am to 7pm Thursday – Monday. These hours and days may change as the practice grows & are open to discussion.
