This is an on-site position, located in Palmer, AK.

The Billing Specialist role supports internal and external customers to ensure invoices are created and billed in a timely manner. Performs invoice preparation, audits, adjustments and assists in month-end account receivable activities.

Day in the Life
After booting up your computer and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

• Check emails and voicemails
• Set up projects in Oracle
• Enter project’s daily work orders, stockreqs, manifests
• Review project documentation for accuracy
• Prepare draft invoices for PM approval
• Post, mail, and email invoices
• Upload invoices into various customers’ portals
• Digital filing of paperwork related to billing
• Assist with AR collections
• Answer phones and direct callers
• Process customers’ credit card payments

What you need to apply

• High School Diploma or GED/GED equivalent
• 2 years of billing experience
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to apply general problem-solving skills relating to customer activity, including customers’ account reconciliation
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service and office administration experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
