Embrace Dentistry of Brookings is a growing dentistry practice, and is offering a great full-time position Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5pm.

We are looking for a Patient Coordinator/Front Desk staff member who possess a calm disposition to create a soothing atmosphere for the patients. The Patient Coordinator is the “face” of the organization. They assist patients both in person and on the phone with scheduling, pricing, insurance, finance, and general practice information. This individual will provide great customer service at the front desk and care to our patients.

Responsibilities Include:

• Greet current or prospective patients in person or over the phone
• Schedule appointments for dentists and hygienists
• Monitor schedules to ensure the clinic is running effieciently
• Schedule emergency appointments as necessary per day
• Monitor the schedule to fill gaps as needed
• Present treatment plans to patients and discuss financial information
• Verify insurance and enter patient insurance information into the database
• Work with insurance companies to receive payments for services rendered
• Process paperwork and enter data into database

Office Participation & Professionalism

• Be kind and courteous to patients, staff, doctors, and others
• Perform tasks as assigned by the dentist or manager
• Take initiative to identify and execute ways to continually improve individual and practice performance
• To the extent possible, help others perform their tasks when overloaded or backed up or to otherwise increase the operational and emotional performance of the practice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
