The Product Support Technician II performs phone support, battery pack repairs, and contributes to product development projects providing a rewardingly diversified set of job responsibilities. Product Support Technicians get to work in both the theoretical and practical hands-on worlds supporting customers experiencing issues with Flux Power battery packs across a range of material handling applications. The Product Support Technician delivers world class support to customers helping drive world class customer satisfaction and end-user experience to win in the marketplace and achieve corporate financial performance goals.

What you Will be Doing

• Learning and upskilling on proprietary and standardized lithium-ion batteries and supporting technologies.
• Providing technical assistance to customers via phone, email, and sometimes field support (local travel).
• Contribute to repairing and diagnosing battery packs returned from the field.
• Contribute to product support internal ISO processes and help provide product failure data analysis.
• Support the application engineering and sales teams with problems during product demonstrations.
• Monitor battery performance with Flux Power’s flagship SkyBMS cloud telematic monitoring solution.
• Work with colleagues to escalate complex issues to support engineering and improve your lithium-ion technical skillset.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide product design improvement input to hardware and software engineering teams.

What you Will Need

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Associates of Arts in a technical trade is preferred.
• Candidates with mechanical or technical training, military experience or trade school certifications in electronics, avionics, or mechanical fields (automotive, aerospace, marine, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum two years of previous technician experience in automotive, aerospace, marine, or similar industries.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities are desired.
• Hands-on mechanical repair experience is preferred.
• A willingness to interact with customers, or previous technical support experience is desirable.
• You will need the capacity to follow-up and multitask daily.
• You should have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with diverse personalities.
• You are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs are a plus.
• The ability to lift 30lbs is required.
• A current driver’s license is required.
• Up to 15% domestic travel can be expected.
