Responsibilities:
· Drives and provides overall support to assure the following project milestones are met within the stipulated deadline: System Design and Procurement, Programming and Configuration, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Commissioning
· Provides project lifecycle leadership and expertise for Control and Automation projects within the oil and gas industry to include project scope, cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement and change management
· Aides in the procurement process by creating Bill of Materials (BOM), preparing Request for Quote (RFQ), reviewing vendor quotes and delivery schedules and approving vendor invoices
· Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, mechanical requirements, and motor controls
· Create and finalize designs to meet project requirements
· Create electrical, software design of customized solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems
· Create accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials)
· Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings
· Remotely support our fabrication shop with CAD and technical support.
· Maintain accurate records and files according to quality standard
· Define equipment and parts from external suppliers
· Conduct cost and time estimation
Job Qualifications:
· Applicants must be a citizen of the United States with a valid driver’s license. Must pass a background check, drug and alcohol test and have a clear driving record.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in process control and automation
· Proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD 2D
· Strong working knowledge with Allen Bradley PLCs and RSLogix 5000,500
· Able to efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals
· Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
· Able to work independently and in team environments with minimal supervision
· Panel Design and Construction experience preferred
· SCADA experience preferred
· Travel as required (up to 25%) to support projects – not typical to be out of town for more than 1-2 weeks at a time
Physical Requirements:
· Lifting requirements, no greater than 80 pounds
· Sitting in truck traveling to and from customer job sites
· Climbing and working at heights
· Meticulous/fine motor skill work

Work Environment:
· Office is well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
· Field work duties will have exposure to the elements, including heat, sun, rain, wind, cold, snow and slippery conditions.
· Required to wear safety equipment: as per OSHA requirements including but not limited steel toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, lanyard, fire retardant, protective eye wear, etc.
