With a direct reference to our Head of R&D - US Water Meters, you will become a part of our Technology Function Team. More specifically, you will join a team of 35 competent and dedicated Project Managers and Development Engineers who constitute our Technology HCW Meters team.
In the newly established position as R&D (Research & Development) Project Manager located in Roswell, GA, your main task will be to lead and manage cross organizational development projects to secure the highest quality products of the future. We have a strong established Technology Function Team in Denmark where you will gain technical knowledge on our products in order to support and shape the future growth in the US. You will get a central role in the development of our products to the American market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading development projects of new products for the US market in accordance with Kamstrup’s quality procedure and development model.
• Acting as the link between Product Management, Technology and Production.
• Planning and execution of development projects across the organization and cross-cultural relationships.
• Follow-up on project schedule and budget.
• Identifying customer’s needs and pains and transforming these into requirements and solutions.
• Supporting the US organization in technical product understanding and structure.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCES AND EDUCATION:

• We are looking for a dedicated R&D (Research & Development) Project Manager who is motivated by responsibility and influence.
• An educational background within engineering combined with a commercial mindset and a strong market understanding.
• 3+ years of experience from a similar position where you have worked with and managed cross organizational projects.
• Structured and capable of prioritizing and working on multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect and interact effectively with people on all levels of the organization.
• You enjoy working in an international company in close collaboration with peers across US and Europe.
• Lastly, you thrive in a technical and outgoing role with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
