The Retail Sales Associates ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. They are also responsible for all sales activity, remaining knowledgeable on products, assessing customer needs, providing assistance, maintaining selling floor presentations and stock.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering questions and assisting them with merchandise selection.
• Demonstrate professional etiquette with customers, both in person and on the phone. Build relationships with customers to ensure long-term business growth.
• Develop expert product knowledge to assist customers with product attributes, benefits and care. Assist co-workers and the management staff to achieve store and company goals.
• STORE APPEARANCE: Ensure store cleanliness by vacuuming carpets and dusting shelves, tables and counters. Display and arrange store merchandise neatly with the intent to promote sales. Ensure that promotional signage is correct and fully visible.
• Complete sales transactions.
• Creating and/or updating customer account records.
• Process and ticket shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Complete markdowns and price changes accurately and efficiently.
• Properly package and ship customer orders using FedEx.

Qualification Requirements:

• Demonstrate accuracy in processing transactions and overall register operations.Understand and effectively utilize the Direct Commerce system.
• Demonstrate the ability to express ideas and information clearly and effectively. Exercise good verbal and writing skills.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, store staff and corporate office personnel. Able to stand for at least 7 hours per day.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
