Soundwave is seeking an Outside Sales Assistant. This employee will support the Sales Staff by improving efficiency as sales volume increases. This assistant will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with large and small customers alike, ensuring all sales documents and agreements are completed. The Sales Assistant will occasionally work in the field as well as the retail space, providing assistance directly to customers and the install staff. Must be knowledgeable of inventory while locating product for customers. Direct path to General Sales Position with the potential for Salary, Commission and Benefits.

Qualifications

• Any kind of Sales experience is recommended but not required
• Hands-on, team-oriented
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Organization & Note taking
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with Contractors and clients to have constructive and cooperative working relationships
• Eager to take on new responsibilities and challenges, willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Maintain valid driver's license within company policy requirements
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude
• Build strong rapport with customers and co-workers
• Walk jobs including construction site to understand scope & help create designs
• Mark blue prints and plans per design
• Answer sales calls
• Set appointments for the sales team
• Answer email leads for appointments
• Training courses as specified by the sales leads
• Learn to overcome objectives, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
• Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc.
• Understand home A/V terminology
• Assist the retail & field staff when needed
