The Security Officer II will maintain a safe and secure work environment at Galls, LLC by protecting employees, guests, visitors, and property. Duties include staffing the security entrance, patrolling property, monitoring cameras, completing, and reviewing incident reports, participating in inspections and audits, and deterring misconduct.

• Monitor daily facility operations to ensure a safe environment for all Galls’ employees and visitors
• Monitor access to the building through the staffing of the main security desk. Insure all employees have badges, all guests log in and receive name tags, and no unauthorized individuals enter the building.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Report any activities or incidents that diminish the safety and well-being of Galls’ property and employees.
• Complete and review incident reports.
• Participate in inspections and audits of department operations to ensure safety and security requirements and standards are being met.
• Patrol grounds to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, safety/security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems and unauthorized people on site and report any issues to appropriate contact.
• Maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Maintain safety and security log and provide reports as needed to management team.
• Other tasks may be assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

• One year of experience in a security, corrections or law enforcement field is required.
• Must be able to work any hours, any shift. This includes occasional weekend availability.
• Experience in Microsoft Office is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to perform physical components of position which includes sitting, standing, walking for moderate periods of time, climbing stairs, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
• Interpersonal skills.
