Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related from an accredited university.

7-10 years or more of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and site investigation experience.

Experience with Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy programs, particularly leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTs).

Ability to effectively manage and coordinate staff and interface with corporate leadership.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current with 8-hour refresher courses.

Experience with Vapor Intrusion Assessment and Mitigation

Existing client base of industrial, financial institutions, developers, governmental agencies, and attorneys.

Job Description:

Successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment providing mainly due diligence, underground storage tank and vapor intrusion assessment services. Expectations include:

Conduct and/or Manage Phase I ESAs to ASTM or higher standards.

Conduct and/or Manage Phase II Esa Conduct and/or Manage UST assessment and closure projects, with associated regulatory reporting.

Conduct and/or Manage Vapor Intrusion Investigations.

Maintain existing client base and cultivate new client prospects.

Understands and executes Environmental Due Diligence and Michigan Brownfield Redevelopment Processes.

Demonstrates full knowledge of each project’s status and goals.

Performs tasks across multiple disciplines to bring about successful project completion.

Responds to customers in a timely manner.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
