Senior Project Manager – SABER Contract Federal Government

Job Responsibilities

• The Senior Project Manager shall provide overall contract management of the prime contract.
• Contractor review of material submittals and shop drawings
• Full authority to develop cost proposals, negotiate, and sign award/modification paperwork
• Supervision of individual project superintendents
• Attendance at all joint Contract Officer/Contract Officer’s Representative/Contractor weekly status meetings, pre-performance site visits, pre-final inspections, and final inspections
• Generate and manage project schedule; responsible for conducting team meetings, delegating tasks, and managing project activities across multiple departments and functions
• Manage project budgets; responsible for forecasting, managing change orders and tracking budget versus actual costs
• Negotiate and administer contracts; ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise; evaluate alternatives and proposes solutions
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to executive projects

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager in SABER or similar multi-project/multi-discipline contracts
• Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous experience in detailed (line-item) cost estimation, including computer estimation using e4Clicks® /RS Means software, as well as line-item negotiation experience
• Computer literacy
• Located in South Carolina with preference near the Columbia or Sumter area
